Description: The 2nd place winner of the 2013 Washington State Fair Kids Baking Contest is a fun new recipe to enjoy at home or with friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 can (10 oz) Almond ROCA®

  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

  • 1 tbsp white chocolate chips

  • 2 ¼ cup flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 cup white sugar

     

Directions

  1. Preheat oven at 350˚F

  2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl

  3. In small bowl – mix butter, eggs, vanilla and brown sugar

  4. Mix all batter together

  5. Chop Almond ROCA®, then stir into batter until blended.

  6. Drop by spoonful onto silicone baking sheet or mold

  7. Bake until done in middle – 10-12 minutes

  8. Remove and let cool

  9. Melt milk and white chocolate chips and drizzle separately on top
