Our partnership with Tacoma Rescue Mission and how you can help!
At Brown & Haley, we believe back-to-school season is about making sure every student has the opportunity to start the school year feeling prepared and supported. That’s why this year, we felt particularly drawn to supporting the Tacoma Rescue Mission, an incredible organization in Tacoma that provides opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness.
We wanted to do more than simply ask our community to give back. So, we started by giving first.
Our team hand-assembled around 80 backpacks, filling them with purchased school supplies, as well as pencils generously donated by our friends at Rite in the Rain.
Once the backpacks were packed and ready to go, our team got to hand-deliver them directly to the Tacoma Rescue Mission. Seeing the project come together and knowing these backpacks would go to students in our own community made the experience especially meaningful for our team.
But we didn’t want the giving to stop there.
For the entire month of September, we’re inviting YOU, our beloved Almond Roca customers, to join us in extending that generosity.
For the first 200 online orders of Almond Roca, we’ll donate $5 to Tacoma Rescue Mission, up to a total contribution of $1,000.
It’s a simple way to enjoy the treats you love while helping provide additional support to students in need. Orders must be $20 or more before shipping!
For us, this campaign is about putting our values into practice. By taking the first step ourselves, we hope to inspire our customers, partners, and community to take part and help us make an even greater impact.
