About the Position
Our Machine Operators are responsible for set up, shut down, operation, & general maintenance for our production machines. Technical & mechanical aptitude will be required to successfully operate the related machinery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Set up of production line, assembling machinery, pipes, belts & inspecting for potential issues.
Understand, navigate, modify & validate product specifications through machine HMI screen systems.
Shut down of lines, discard remaining product into designated containers & disassemble equipment for cleaning.
Use hand tools to repair & replace wires/ wire belts on machinery.
Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and machine performance logs.
Load raw or packaged materials into machines, monitor ingredient flow, and ensure proper packaging and labeling of finished products.
Communicate consistently & effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel. Providing instructional guidance to line workers when requested or necessary.
Identify and address minor machine issues, conduct routine maintenance, and report major malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
Lift up to 50lbs. & co-lift up to 100lbs.
Adhere to human and food safety rules.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Transfer to temporary or project related work.
Maintain clean and hazard free work area.
Communicate with team members & supervisors.
Troubleshoot & maintain machine systems.
Other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
Related Experience:
At least 6 months of related or relevant experience.
Competencies:
