About the Position
Our General Laborers are responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support production, ensure quality, and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of approximately 60 to 90 days, depending on business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Assist with food processing, packaging, and labeling.
Work in a fast-paced environment on assembly lines to ensure efficient workflow.
Operate basic equipment to package, palletize, and breakdown goods.
Load and unload raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.
Ensure materials are stored properly to maintain food safety.
Inspect products for defects, contamination, or irregularities. Report any quality concerns to supervisors.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and facility areas.
Dispose of food waste and packaging materials properly.
Adhere to all human and food safety rules.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Transfer to temporary or project related work.
Maintain hazard free work area and report any hazard concerns to a supervisor.
Communicate with team members & supervisors.
Other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
Related Experience:
At least 6 months of related or relevant experience.
Competencies:
Basic mathematic skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
