Position Location: 100% Onsite
Position Status: Full Time/ NON-EXEMPT / Swing Shift
About the Position
The Swing Shift Maintenance Supervisor ensures production is well-supported by maintenance, that all members of the team work in a human-safe and food-safe manner, and supports additional back-end functions of the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Assign tasks for the maintenance team to complete daily, across all shifts.
Run related meetings to ensure cross-functional execution.
Have accountability conversations with employees when required, under minimal direction from upper management.
Communicate with production on the status of work orders and production outage situations.
Research and order parts as required. Kit parts for maintenance work orders.
Manage moderate-sized projects as assigned.
Ability to resolve cross-functional disagreements gracefully.
Contact & co-ordinate with parts and equipment vendors.
Adhere to and ensure other employees adhere to GMPs and safety rules.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Fill-in for Maintenance Manager in their absence.
Other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Two-year college degree (preferred).
Related Experience:
At least 2 years of related maintenance experience.
Previous experience supervising other employees is required.
Competencies:
Mechanical Aptitude.
Mathematical Skills
Essential computer skills: Internet browsing and purchasing, Windows file system, cloud-based file organization, Excel, Word, Outlook.
Strong communication skills.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
